ALTAR SUBMISSION FORM

A limited amount of mausoleums at the Oakland Cemetery will be available to set up altars. First come, first serve. Participation is free. Submission does not guarantee participation. You will be contacted to discuss further details.

CATRIN & CATRINA COSTUME CONTEST

Come dressed the day of the event and register at one of our tables to get a number. You will be required to get on stage where voting will take place. Prices will be awarded.

Oakland CemetEry: Día de Muertos Festival

Currently in our 21st year, the festival receives around 10,000 visitors. 

FREE TO THE PUBLIC

Join us at our second year Visitors of all ages learn about and experience the Day of the Dead festival. Guests enjoy traditional dancing, crafts and authentic Mexican food, and entertainment. View a display of altars honoring lost family and friends that are decorated with flowers, food, and beverages. Admission is free.

This festival is presented in partnership with the Consulate General of Mexico, Oakland Cemetery, and the Oficina de Enlace GTO-Georgia.
